Czechoslovakian Vlcak (CSV)

The Czechoslovakian Vlcak (CSV) is a large, athletic dog breed that originated in Czechoslovakia in the 1950s by crossing German Shepherds with Carpathian Wolves. Initially started as a military project and used to secure the borders, specimens quickly passed into private hands for further breeding. Now this not undemanding breed enjoys increasing popularity as a loyal companion and can occasionally be seen at the one or other dog sporting event.

If you want to learn more about the breed or if you want to buy a Czechoslovakian Vlcak you are welcome to browse through the information on my website and to contact me if you have any further questions.

Below you will find information on various topics about the CSV and a very informative interview from the German Club für Tschechoslowakische Wolfhunde about the breed in general.
